Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is the assessment and treatment of conditions through physical means. Injury, accident, stresses, strains and illness can take their toll on the body.

As a result the body’s physical, emotional and psychological functions can become impaired, resulting in a limitation of normal function.

A Physiotherapist aims to prevent disability and to improve the health of the patient and get them back to their optimum levels of health.

Our approach is very ‘hands on’ using proven techniques to assist in recovery for injury and overuse. This includes; joint mobilisation, joint manipulation, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, muscle energy techniques, functional exercise, muscle stretches, acupuncture (needle or no needles; lazer and electro) and ultrasound.
